Emily Jane Baker UKCC2, Dressage Trainer and Rider, NLP Coach

As owner and founder of The Dovecote Stables and Equinethos LTD Emily has a long standing interest in the development of the equestrian partnership in all disciplines. Emily believes in creating a harmonious partnership between horse and rider as they progress through the training levels with the emphasis on creating a happy athlete and always putting the horses welfare first.

Emily is available to train riders and horses from novice to advanced from all disciplines. Emily welcomes riders for training at her base The Dovecote Stables or holds clinics nationally and internationally for all levels of horse and rider.

Emily trains regularly with Andreas Hausberger, Andrew Murphy and Jose Luis Valdes and has been influenced in her career by Charles de Kunffy, Arthur Kottas and Dr Gerd Heuschmann.

 

Ivan Aguado Melet – Show Jumping Rider and trainer

Experienced showjumping rider and breeder from Barcelona Spain where he competed at national and international levels.

For the past 20 years Ivan’s unique friendly yet professional approach to working with young horses to more advanced has brought him many awards.

Ivan’s method works on the premise of developing the understanding between horse and rider while building confidence and trust incorporating horsemanship skills. In this way he believes both horse and rider can reach their maximum potential.

Based at the Dovecote stables, as a freelance trainer and rider, he’s keen to take on horses with the potential of competing at a high level, this can be for the purpose of selling or increase the value on a particular horse.

Ivan is available at the Dovecote stables or happy to teach and ride in other yards by arrangement.

 

Rosie Sutherland – Head Groom

Rosie has been involved with horses since the age of 10 and worked professionally with them for 16 yrs. Rosie started out working for event riders but gradually had opportunities to work within various disciplines, p2p, showing,hunting, dressage and stud work. Rosie had shown successfully in-hand and ridden at county level and at the royal Welsh qualifying for the Royal International.

For the past 8 years She has concentrated on breeding her own horses and showing them from foals through to their ridden careers.

Alongside this for 8 yrs she has been training a young rider and providing him with rides for a variety of disciplines to compete in pony club teams and individually as well as Tetrathalons.  After a successful year representing Wales,area 18 and Nationally at Tetrathalons she is now concentrating mainly on dressage and the breeding of dressage/sport horses.  Rosies passion is breeding and training the youngsters as well as grooming for competitions and seeing the horses and riders enjoy the sport.

Rosie loves being part of a team progressing, learning and encouraging everyone to do the best they can.

 

Iain Pringuer – Osteopath

Iain Pringuer has been working with Stuart and treating horses all over Britain and in Europe since 2006, building a very successful client base across all equine disciplines and continuing to spread the work of osteopathy with horses and advising clients in top dressage, showing, racing  and international mounted games.

Ian Graduated from De Montfort university in 2001 after studying for his first bachelor’s degree with honours in sports science. Following on to study for a second degree, he graduated from the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005.

With a deep interest in the welfare of animals, Iain extended his studies to animal osteopathy and graduated from the Osteopathic Centre for Animals in 2006.

Iain has been around horses and riding from a very early age, going through pony club and mounted games where he competed for England in the world championships. He has competed in Show jumping, Tetrathlon and Eventing and he hunted with the Oakley Hunt.

Iain is interested in all equestrian sports and keenly follows horse racing but he also plays hockey and ski’s whenever possible.

Iain has lectured human and equine biomechanics and anatomy and is a registered Osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council.
